Meet Our Pastor

Dr. Jayce is also the best-selling author of One-Minute Devotions for Boys, which has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide. In addition, he authored No Girls Allowed: Devotions for Boys, Crazy Circus World, and 100 Answers to 100 Questions Every Graduate Should Know. He is an instructor at Regent University and is an avid sports fan who enjoys cheering for his favorite sports teams while eating pizza with a fork. Dr. Jayce has a Doctorate, two Masters Degrees, a Bachelor of Science, and a small trophy for perfect attendance in Sunday school from when he was nine. He currently resides with his fantabulous wife and four children in the Virginia Beach area.

PASTOR JAYCE O’NEAL

Lead Pastor

Dr. Jayce O'Neal is the Lead Pastor of RED Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Pastor Jayce planted RED Church to be a church community focused on helping people fully realize REDemption through Jesus. 

Sports & Arts?
He is a huge sports fan. He cheers for the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions, Pistons, Tigers, and Red Wings. He is also an avid supporter of the New England Patriots. 

In addition, he has an extensive arts background as an actor, director, writer, and is an all around creative type. 

Favorite Books?
Being a writer himself, Pastor Jayce loves to read. His favorite works of fiction includes Lord of the Rings, Where the Sidewalk Ends, and The Princess Bride. Some of his favorite nonfiction books include Celebration of Disciplines, Heaven, Multiply, Experiencing God, and Dressed to Kill.

Favorite Movies/TV?
Having been involved in films/TV in the past, Pastor Jayce has a wide varied taste in movies and TV. He enjoys genre pieces like The Avengers, Lord of the Rings, Lonesome Dove or Twilight Zone, but he also enjoys classics such as The Andy Griffith Show, The A-Team, and Bonanza. However, if the TV is on, there is an 85% chance it is a football game.

Pastor Jayce is an annual Fantasy Football participant.
